Famagusta (Gazimağusa)

Famagusta (Gazimagusa) is located between two major regions of the island, Deryneia and Boaz. It is the largest district on the island, encompassing the Besparmak mountain range, the western part of the island with views of the European continent and access to the open sea, as well as the eastern part with views of the Arabian Peninsula. Famagusta is famous for its long, pristine beaches stretching over 40 km with a gentle entry into the sea. On several beaches, the water depth does not exceed 1 meter from the shore, making them especially attractive for families with children. Along the coast, you can find a full range of beach holiday infrastructure for both young people and families: restaurants, cafés, beach clubs, and more.
